Ethiopia’s U17 national team the “Red Foxes” leave for Mali Friday for the first leg round three Nations Cup qualifiers against the hosts this coming Sunday.

The match will be staged at Modibie Kieta in the capital Bamako.

The Red Foxes have been training in Addis and Hawassa cities for the past 15 days and Head Coach Atenafu Alemu is confident of a good outing in West Africa.

The young Ethiopians were 5-2 aggregate victors over Egypt in the last round to book a date with the Malians.

A squad of 20 plus six officials will make the trip to Bamako.
