David Eto’o, the younger brother of Cameroon legend Samuel Eto’o, has joined MTN Elite One League champions Eding Sport.

Eto’o  sealed a two-year deal from another Cameroonian club Union Sportive Douala early last week, according to official communication from the club.

The 29-year-old missed a good number of league matches last season while at USD but played a pivotal role for Cameroon, helping the team qualify for Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) finals, having started in both last round qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe.

Eto’o came through the ranks of Kadji Sports Academy and has had a spells in Spain and France at Real Mallorca, Murcia, Sedan,Cretieil,FC Koper among others.

The midfielder will now partner with another experience player,Pascal Mbarga Abega in the Eding’s midfield and will be a part of country’s sole representatives in next year’s CAF champions league where they will face Plateau United of Nigeria in the preliminary round.

Eding have signed over fifteen players in the latest transfer market as they look forward to retain league title next season.
