A high powered delegation from English Premier League side Everton Football Club led by the CEO Robert Elstone and FKF officials will on Wednesday address the media from FIFA Goal Project, Kasarani, to explain their findings on the state of Kenyan football.
The team will again address the media a day later from the Capital Nairobi, on possible areas of partnerships with “SportPesa” the official Football Kenya Federation (FKF) partners.
“Everton Football Club’s top management will tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon, hold a press briefing to address the media on their reason for their visit to Kenya even as they take a look on the Goal project at Kasarani,” A statement “SportPesa” stated in part.
“This is all in a bid to see Kenya participate in the 2022 FIFA World Cup and in overall, to improve football standards in Kenya.”
It will the second time in less than two months for an EPL team delegation to visit Kenya; in June Arsenal coaches, lead by former defender Sol Campbell conducted coaching clinics in Kenya.
