Former Bright Stars FC defender Akram Kakembo is among eight players that have been shown the door by Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) side Onduparaka FC ahead of 2017/2018 season.
Kakembo signed for Onduparaka in 2016 after a poor season with the Fred Kajoba’s coached side and the left-footed defender has now been released by the club that is rebuilding ahead of the upcoming season.
Also released is experienced midfielder Toko Fahad and defender Kisseka Mahad who equally failed to impress in 2016/2017 as the team unsuccessfully pushed to win their maiden title after promotion from second tier league.

Nisar Kasim,Toko Fahad,Olema Hamza,Chombe Douglas ,Badu Iddi,Kisseka Mahad,Akram Kakembo and Matua Joshua.
At the same time, the club has confirmed the signing of new goalkeeping coach Moses Oloya who makes a return from Somali National team.
The club has aslo shown door to assitant coach Francis Mugerwa with Leo Adraa officially taking role of head coach position after attaining the correct papers.
Experiences Livingstone Mbabazi was demoted to role of team manager while Merlin Beatrice is the new Team doctor.
