Zambia U-20 striker Fashion Sakala says he is delighted after opening his account for his new club Spartak Moscow Junior team in a 3-2 win against Orenburg in the 21st round of the Championship ROSGOSSTRAKH on Sunday 2nd April 2017.

Sakala opened the scoring from an acute angle in the 13th minute from Krasilnichenko’s long searching pass in the box and later made an assist for Portuguese player Sambu in the 42nd minute.

Sakala tells Soka25east.com in an exclusive interview from his base in Russia that he prayed about it before the game and he is happy God answered his prayers.

“As a new player I feel guilty without scoring goals but am happy that I have played two games scoring 1 and 1 assist its so great.

“I really feel good and thank God for answering my prayer,” Sakala said.

The striker joined Spartak Moscow from Zambian Champions Zanaco FC in the January transfer window and was part of the Junior Chipolopolo side that won the U-20 African championship in March 2017.

Fashion says he now has his sight set on breaking into the first team.

“Am settling well I can see myself improving every day during training and I am always working hard to play for the first team.  At the moment I am playing for the second team but its important and its a good beginning for me. I know God already opened doors for me to play for the first team,” he said.
