For Joseph Nestroy Kizito, age is just but a number. Not much is talked about this former Uganda cranes defender and Captain who had 30 caps for the National team.
Kizito began his career in his native country with SC Villa in January 2004,he then left Uganda and moved to Serbia for a professional stint where he played for FK Srem alongside fellow countryman Philip Ssoz. He spent a year at Srem before transferring to FK Vojvodina.He scored the winning goal breaking a traditional record against Red Star Belgrade in the 2005/6 season. He was elected twice as supporter’s player of the year in the same club.
He later moved to Serbian Champions FK Partizan where he became the first Ugandan to play in the UEFA Champions league.

Nestroy- I am Kizito Joseph Nestroy
Soka25east.com -When and where were you born?
Nestroy-I was born in Mutukula town near the Tanzanian-Ugandan border in July 27th 1982.
Soka25east.com -After narrating to me your playing career, what are your memorable moments?
Nestroy-My memorable moments is when I was selected to join the national team, Uganda cranes and when I played in the prestigious UEFA champion’s league.
Soka25east.com-And when was your sad moment in your football career?
Nestroy-My sad moments was when we failed to reach the AFCON 2012 after drawing Kenya at home was really sad and I cried.
Soka25east.com-It is reported that your elder brother Manfred Kizito played for Rwandese National side, the Amavubi and capped 16 times, how did it happen that the two of you play in different countries?
Nestroy–Actually I am a Tanzanian
Soka25east.com-Are you open to offers in outside Uganda?
Nestroy-I am ready to play for any team outside Uganda be it Kenya or Tanzania, but it should be in the top 4 in the league.
