The Ethiopia Football Association, EFA affirms to have requested a friendly match with Zambia as a preparation for the 2018 CHAN in Kenya.
However, they are still waiting for a feedback from the Football Association of Zambia so as to fix a date.
In an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com, EFA President Juneidi Basha said, they requested for a friendly match but still waiting for a response.
“We requested friendly match and we are expecting positive response” said Juneidi Basha.
When asked if a letter of confirmation from FAZ was sent and if the date was fixed, Juneidi Basha said “No only expectations. To fix the date we need official letter from Zambia”.
Chipolopolo coach, Wedson Nyirenda told the press, early this week, that, the Football Association of Zambia secured friendly matches with Ethiopia in May and Gabon in June.
