Kenyan born University of Washington attacking midfielder Handwalla Bwana has stated that he wants to play for the national football team the Harambee Stars.

Speaking exclusively to Soka25east.com from his base in USA,the 17 year old who left Kenya in 2010 and is currently training with Major League soccer top tier side Seattle Sounders expressed his desire to play for his country of birth ,alongside his idol Harambee stars skipper Victor Wanyama.

“I would love to play for Kenya nation, it’s my country I grew up there. It will be an honor to play for them and in front of my idol Victor Wanyama”.

“its every kids dream to play for their national team, so if the opportunity arises why not take it. It will be an honor to play for Harambee stars”.

The Mombasa born, Seattle Sounders academy graduate was in fine form last season for University of Washington scoring 4 goals and registering 12 assists to his name during his debut season of college soccer.
