The investigation of Guinea Bissau by the Confederation of African football (CAF) over the eligibility of the suspected Senegalese trio used during the 2017 AFCON Qualifier penalty-mate match against Zambia is still underway.
Many had concluded that the Football association of Zambia’s complaint had been rubbished after the non existence of the verdict when CAF published a list of it’s ruling regarding the disciplinary issue early this month,in which Guinea Bissau were fined $500.000 for failing to control the crowds.
Sources at the continent’s governing headquarters in Egypt revealed to soka25east.com that the case is still under investigation.
Guinea Bissau’s hopes to make a debut at AFCON were left hanging in balance when Zambia launched a complaint to CAF over the possible eligibility of their three players.
