Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) giants Express FC have appointed Mathias ‘Matia’ Lule as the team’s head coach.

The former Entebbe FC coach was unveiled today signing a three year contract with Red Eagles and will work together with assistant coach Hassan Mubiru.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony at Kibenge Hotel, club president,Mrs Nakiwala Kiyingi specified Martias position while confirming that current assistant coach Hassan Mubiru will stay at the club.

“Lule has joined us as we work to put our season on track.Plans are advanced to see that he will lead the team during our next match, which we will be hosting,”Kiyingi said.

Express FC has lately been effecting a number of changes in their technical bench department since the departure of Alex Gitta and most recently Waswa Bossa, who was swept aside when changes were made to the entire technical bench.
