Extreme Sports, the company behind the most successful grassroot football leagues in Nairobi on Thursday 24 extended the love to the Coastal region of Mombasa.
Lead by the Head of Operations and Coordination, Athanas Okaka, they presented the Football Kenya Federation ( FKF ) Mombasa Sub Branch with a cheque worth Kshs 150,000 to help support grassroot football in the region.
Extreme Sports runs two top quality grassroot leagues in Nairobi Region; SportPesa Super 8 Premier league and Super 8 Division One League plus a high profile tournament, the Sportpesa Super 8 Tournament.
All these are geared towards developing raw talent at the lowest levels, and above all to support youths who are the majority citizens.
So will Extreme Sports replicate the leagues in other regions of Kenya? only time will tell.
