Extreme Sports Limited on Wednesday engaged more than 40 stewards in a capacity building training program where they underwent a comprehensive security procedures recommended by FIFA and in line with national police authority.
The training which took place at LMS Conference hall sought to enhance security at the stadia during SPS8 PL matches with the long term aim of curbing hooliganism and violence during league matches.
The trainees received detailed guidelines from a professional security consultant on a wide range of topics including steward deployment plan, spectator supervision, safety requirements, evacuation during crisis, vigilance/intelligence, laws and regulation as well as administrative directives during matches.
