By Robert Matakanye,
Fadlu Davids future at Maritzburg United is currently up in
the air at the club.
The Cape Town born coach was appointed as the head
coach of Team of choice at the beginning of last season with the 37 year old
guiding the Pietmaritzburg outfit to a fourth place finish and reach 2018
Nedbank cup final.
However United have had a challenging start to the 2018/19
campaign being eliminated from the MTN8 competition,Telkom Competition and
winning just one Absa Premiership game out of 14 encounters played seeing Team
of Choice placed bottom on the league standings with just 11 points in the bag.
Soka25east.com sources have since indicated that Davids
immediate future is currently being discussed behind the scenes with sources
suggesting that management at the club are keeping cards close to their chest.
Indications are that there might be chanes made to the club
technical team today wich suggests that Davids future at the club will be the
first to be decided on.
Top management is hunting for a new coach, a source revealed
to Soka25east.com they are not happy that the team lost it’s winning consistency.
