After the news broke-out that Chisamba Lungu will not travel for Chipolopolo’s formality AFCON 2017 qualifier match,a sense of disappointment was expected from the fans but, To the authors surprise fans are quite happy with his decision.
Chipolopolo team manager Stanley Kaseko confirmed that Chisamba will not be available for the Kenya game.
“Chisamba wont be coming for this game. We did everything to enable him travel but he has
refused to come.”
“So we can not force him if he is not ready. He
will be considered for fututure assignments,”
Kaseko told the Times of Zambia.
The fans told soka25east.com that Chisamba can’t come and sit on the bench to watch young inexperienced [undeserving] local players play ahead of him.
“It’s all because of the coach and his technical bench. You frustrate senior players like chisamba and call him for a formality game to make us the fans believe that all is well.
