Lusaka Dynamos vs Nchanga Rangers
Independence Stadium
13:00
The preview of Week Three was the hype in the off season of Lusaka Dynamos with promises that it was a different team and they would now fight for honors and become one of the great teams in the nation. The season is on now and the hype seems to have gone in thin air.
In contrast, it looks like a poor Lusaka Dynamos of last season is better than the rich Lusaka Dynamos of 2016. I see a lot of frustrations in the team starting with the coaching team to the fans. I don’t know about the players as it seems their incentive is well meaningful.
They are home to Nchanga Rangers and both teams are from losing to Lusaka Tigers and ZANACO respectively and none of the teams would want to go for another draw.
There are 10 games written in this fixture with two wins for Lusaka and three wins for Nchanga Rangers. Five have been draws.
Power Dynamos were very poor at home to ZANACO and on the first day of the League they were again very poor against Lusaka Tigers at Independence stadium where they are coming back. I think Lusaka Dynamos will take advantage of this and win.
MY VERDICT: Lusaka Dynamos 2-1 Nchanga Rangers

Green Buffaloes vs Lusaka Tigers
Independence Stadium
15:00
This will be interesting. Lusaka Tigers are getting excited and the belief is slowly building up. But they are meeting GBFC who travelled to Kabwe Warriors where they got a point. GBFC is one of the best teams in midfield this season and I think they will be just too much for Lusaka Tigers. GBFC have a chance of going second as ZANACO will not be playing but that will mean other results should go their way.
I don’t think Tigers have a chance in this encounter.
MY VERDICT: Green Buffaloes 2-0 Lusaka Tigers

NAPSA Stars vs Forest Rangers
Woodlands Stadium
15:00
NAPSA are in the relegation zone while Forest Rangers is just a point from relegation. A win for NAPSA will push Forest Rangers in the bottom four and that is why this fixture is important for both of these teams. NAPSA has played Forest Rangers six times. Two draws, two wins and two losses in those games and this will be the seventh. Interestingly Forest Rangers beat NAPSA 2-0 in Lusaka last season while Forest lost at home 1-0 in Ndola.
I think NAPSA is stronger than Forest Rangers at the moment and the Pensioners will win this one.
MY VERDICT: NAPSA Stars 1-0 Forest Rangers

Nkwazi vs Lumwana Radiants
Lumwana Ground
15:00
Lumwana Radiants are fifth on four points with a game in hand against Zesco United. Nkwazi has a point against Nakambala in week three encounter. Lumwana is away after rewuesting they play away to Nkwazi whike they are in these ends of the coubtry. Otherwise it wss supposed to be a home game. The North Western side is proving a worthy team especially with that win away to Forest Rangers last weekend.
Nkwazi has not yet ticked off and looks like it is getting worse but they have a good squad and they will turn the season around.
I don’t think the turnaround will come in the midweek because I think Lumwana will be tough to beat but this then will end in a draw.
MY VERDICT: Nkwazi 0-0Lumwana Radiants

Nkana vs Kabwe Warriors
Nkana Stadium
15:00
This is a big one and the game of the midweek for me. It is NKANA vs Kabwe Warriors and it doesn’t get any bigger than this. It’s a pity this game is in the mid-week because it is a must watch game in all fairness. The last time the two met was during the 2014 season when Nkana beat Kabwe Warriors 2-0 and in the reverse fixture, Kabwe Warriors was well beaten 5-0.
In the last 10 games between these teams, Nkana has won six times and got three draws. Kabwe has one win in those last 10 games. The last time Kabwe Warriors beat Nkana was in 2010 when they won 1-0 in Kabwe. Everything is against Kabwe Warriors and the stats are not helping Kabwe Warriors. Kabwe Warriors is yet to win a game this season and they face a jubilant Nkana that has belief in them and can get passed Kabwe especially that the game is in Wusakile.
Nkana has three from three and on 9 points and the highest goal scorers with a total of eight goals from five different players which is a good plus for the team. Am impressed with Nkana so far and it’s a team to beat for now.
I think this is another win for Nkana.
MY VERDICT: Nkana 2-0 Kabwe Warriors

Nakambala Leopards vs Green Eagles
Nakambala Stadium
15:00
Green Eagles have started very poor this season and currently lie second from botton, only better than Mufulira Blackpool. They also have the worst goal difference of -3 and that is one area that they need to start working on before they find themselves chasing for points as well as reducing the negative goal difference.
Nakambala is better off two draws from the two played with a game in hand are 13th and a win can propel the sugar boys into the top half of the season and if some results are to go their way can end up third.
There have been eight games involving these teams in the past with Nakambala having the better record. Nakambala has four wins from those eight, two draws and lost twice as well. Green Eagles has only beaten Nakambala in the Super league twice and the second one being last season away in Mazabuka. I don’t think Green Eagles have the best frame of mind for now and will lose this one again.
MY VERDICT: Nakambala Leopards 1-0 Green Eagles

Mufulira Wanderers vs Mufulira Blackpool
Shinde Stadium
15:00
One of the long awaited derby this season kicks off this Midweek on Wednesday and reliable sources suggested that Mufulira Wanderers had asked FAZ for this game be postponed due to the long distance from Choma and the following weekend they will be on the road to Kabwe to play Kabwe Warriors. But it looks like Mighty Mufulira Wanderers has lost the request and the games will have to go as planned.
Mufulira Wanderers are fourth on five points while Mufulira Blackpool is the only team so far in the league with zero points after the two games they played. They will be looking at this encounter to be a chance of registering something as it will be played in their town, something that they have not experienced this season so far.
Mufulira Wanderers are favourite but nothing is done and dusted, this one will be a tight one. And as Bwezani I go for a draw because I think Mighty are tired of that long trip to southern province.
MY VERDICT: Mufulira Wanderers 1-1 Mufulira Blackpool.
