FAZ MTN SUPER LEAGUE WEEK TWO DONE
MUFULIRA WANDERERS THE ONLY TEAM TO LOSE TWICE ALREADY
**********************************
WINNERS AND LOSERS
POWER DYNAMOS 1-0 NAPSA STARS
Jimmy Ndhlovu was the difference in a tense game at Arthur Davies Stadium when he scored the only goal of the game to give Power Dynamos 3 points that moved the Kitwe giants second on the log with only two games played. Power Dynamos were made to work extra hard as Napsa was equal to the task of what Power Dynamos had planned for the encounter.
NAPSA Stars will blame themselves for the poor finishing and the inept part being the many chances that the strikers missed. It will still give Napsa confidence owing to the display in the game and believe me, Napsa will not be an easy side to play this season.
……………………………………………………….
NCHANGA RANGERS 1-0 NKANA
A big anticipated game and were Nkana were hoping to catch up and get to winning ways found Nchanga Rangers ready for the task. Rangers managed to send Nkana back to Kitwe with a loss of 1-0 after a goal by Henry Kasonde Bwalya late on in the second half. Nkana who had no Walter Bwalya in the team after starting his three match ban looked like a team that was running out of ideas.
Nchanga who lost the first game to Napsa gets their first win for the season while Nkana are yet to win the game in the 2017 season after drawing the first one against Nakambala Leopards at home .
………………………………………………………………
GREEN EAGLES 2-1 ZANACO
Green Eagles produced one of the biggest shocks of the weekend as they beat ZANACO for the first time in the league. Mwila Phiri scored the first and Spencer Sautu scored the second before the end of the first half. ZANACO pulled one back in the second half through Kennedy Musonda but it was not enough to get anything from the encounter . ZANACO still have one point and Green Eagles close the week leading the log.
a big win for Green Eagles while ZANACO seriously need a re check.
……………………………………………………..
KONKOLA BLADES 1-0 GREEN BUFFALOES
Green Buffaloes failed to make it two out of two after travelling to Chililabombwe only for a Kilo Mwepu goal in the second half to condemn them to their first defeat of the season. With all the confidence of GBFC coming into the game, Konkola Blades made sure they were equal for the game and actually the people that watched the game confirm Blades played better than GBFC.
…………………………………………..
MUFULIRA WANDERERS 1-4 CITY OF LUSAKA
You would think its an error on the first glimpse of the result. Mufulira Wanderers punished at home by a very good City of Lusaka team that looked ready for the game and Mufulira Wanderers was no where to be seen in the encounter. City Of Lusaka opened the scoring through Noel Phiri before Mundia scored a second.
The first half ended with City leading 2-0. Roy Sikwanda added a third early on in the second half before Rahim pulled one back but Dominic Mulenshi made sure it was a bad day at the office for Mufulira Wanderers who have a whole lot of work to do to stay relevant in this title race.
Mufulira Wanderers is the only team to have lost the first two games and what will be more worrying is the number of goals that the team is conceding . City will leave Copperbelt celebrating and the thought of surviving relegation will at least be forgotten about. Good job Elijah Chikwanda.
Mufulira Wanderers next visit ZANACO

DRAWS
A total of four draws were on the card in week two with only only game without goals .
RED ARROWS 1-1 LUMWANA RADIANTS
Hosea Silwimba scored in the first half to silence the home crowd that were hopeful of getting three points against Lumwana Radiants. Lumwana who settled very well in the first half were the best team of the game in most times.
Stanley Nshimbi equalised for Red Arrows with few minutes to go before the end of the game and Lumwana RADIANTS forced a defence display to earn a point at Nkoloma. Well played Lumwana Radiants. Lumwana close the week in the top four while Red Arrows with only two points are on 12th.
……..,………………………………………
NKWAZI 1-1 LUSAKA DYNAMOS
Mwila Kabwe scored for Nkwazi but let Lusaka Dynamos come back through Nsofwa Mwansa to share the points one apiece . Both Nkwazi and Lusaka Dynamos end the day on two points each and its a good start for Albert Mpande who we thought would struggle in the super league but these are early days.
……………………………………………..
FOREST RANGERS 1-1 REAL NAKONDE
Real Nakonde collected yet another point in the second game of the league after getting the equaliser at the death of the game in Ndola. Danny Silavwe equalised after Green Mumba had put Forest Rangers in the lead. Its the second point for Real Nakonde yet Forest Rangers will count that as the first point of the season.
……………………………………………
BUILDCON 0-0 KABWE WARRIORS
Buildcon is the only team without a goal as close week two after another 0-0 draw with Kabwe Warriors . Both teams for their second points of the season and perhaps a that will mean more for Kabwe Warriors who were away in Ndola.
Buildcon seriously need a striker while Chintu Kampamba will hope the consistence continues especially of not conceding goals but they need someone to start scoring too and consistently.

NAKAMBALA LEOPARDS VS NAKAMBALA LEOPARDS

MY STATISTICS FOR WEEK ONE
Number of Goals scored: 17 GOALS
BEST TEAM OF WEEK TWO FOR ME
CITY OF LUSAKA
Mufulira Wanderers may be having challenges with the team but for any team to go to Shinde and toil with Mufulira Wanderers the way City of Lusaka Did deserves applauds and respect. that was a master class by Elijah Chikwanda da and his boys. Master. lass and beating Mighty 4-1 should send confidence among the players in that camp.
MOST IMPROVED
REAL NAKONDE
It needed full concentration to concede Kate in the game and still manage to get a goal in the dying minutes of that game. Real Nakonde for me is improving with each game and they do well if they. continue doing that. Forest is not an easy team.
MOST DISAPPOINTING TEAM
MUFULIRA WANDERERS
Will be my most disappointing team of the weekend, according to what I saw there should be a lot to do for Suleiman to bring that team back to the top. conceding four goals at home and bring yet another serious concern for the team. Mighty was just too poor in a lot of areas and its the whole lot of work needed to be dine at that team.
FIGHTING RELEGATION
MUFULIRA WANDERERS
Too early to say but losing two out of two with very poor performance is seriously worrying.
BEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JIMMY NDHLOVU (POWER DYNAMOS)
Cool Calm and Collected and got that one important goal for Power Dynamos that shot them second on the log !
