Forest Rangers vs Nkwazi
Trade Fair Grounds
15:00hrs
All of a sudden Forest Rangers is becoming a team to prepare adequately when playing them. They are coming from two impressive results in week four and five. Beating Buildcon and drawing away at Power Dynamos is no mean achievement.
Of course Nkwazi will also will be booed by the 1-0 victory against Buildcon at Edwin Imboela stadium in week five but will be aware that this Forest Rangers is stubborn at Trade Fair Grounds. Rangers are only three points behind league leaders Zesco and Lumwana and picking three points in this encounter will be the focus but Nkwazi has proved they won’t be an easy side to beat this season.
Coincidentally both of these teams beat Buildcon at their home and drew with Power Dynamos away. But Forest is better with with two wins in their last six encounters .
The last 12 games between these two sides is identical, both have won 5 games and we have two draws. The winner in this one will have the better head to head .In the 2016 season Nkwazi won away and drew in Lusaka. This season both have scored five goals each but the defence only has one goal difference as Nkwazi has allowed one more than Forest. I think Forest will continue a good run and pick three points in this encounter .
My Verdict: Forest Rangers 1-0 Nkwazi

Red Arrows vs Power Dynamos
Nkoloma Stadium
15:00hrs
If there is one fixture that Red Arrows looks to correct season in season out is the fixture with Power Dynamos. The Kitwe giants have a very gold head to head against the Air men and they will be hopinthat run continues.
In the last 22 games, Power Dynamos have 12 wins, 6 draws and Red Arrows have 4 wins. In the 2016 season, Power Dynamos did a double against Red Arrows and both of those games ended 1-0 but needful to say Rex Arrows competed.
The last time Red Arrows beat Power Dynamos was in 2012 and that game came on 10th November 2012 which ended 1-0, Power Dynamos won the game in Kitwe that season with the same score line. But the famous one was in 2010 when Power Dynamos lost 2-0 with a brace from Dube Phiri.
Coming to the week six fixtures gje two teams looks to have ssimilar situations and the game could go either way. Red Arrows have drawn three, won once and lost once while Power Dynamos is ing of the last two teams with undefeated record this season so far. The other is Lumwana Radiants.
Honour Janza though seems to know his team too well while Dan Kabwe is still making up a team that he can call his starting 11. Its that reason that has seen Power Dynamos only manage one win in a game they struggled against Napsa and picked four draws in five games. This one will be a draw.
My Verdict: Red Arrows 2-2 Power Dynamos

Green Eagles vs Lusaka Dynamos
Independence Stadium
15:00hrs
Green Eagles fans don’t have to wait long for a big game at Independence stadium with Lusaka Dynamos visiting in week six. Barely a couple of weeks after hosting ZANACO. Green Eagles look to have hit this season running. Straight from beating Kabwe Warriors away. It might be a long season for Eagles but they are enjoying a good form at the moment in top four
Lusaka Dynamos have been busy over the off season improving their squad with Clatous , Mugalu, Conlyde and even Tresor who is in the middle of controversy. Paulo Leamar the Brazilian is also challenging to be first choice in that midfield . Lusaka Dynamos are out of excuses and start the Season as one of the people’s favourites to win the Title. Patrick Phiri will demand that his side now start showing the mantle to win the campaign strongly especially after getting their first win against an improved Red Arrows in week five.
Green Eagles though have beaten Lusaka Dynamos three times in the last six, drawing two and losing one. That win for Lusaka Dynamos came through last season in Choma and I think they can do this again. Away win expected. But then Lusaka Dynamos like conceding as we have seen this season so far.
My Verdict: Green Eagles 1-2 Lusaka Dynamos

Nakambala Leopards Vs Lumwana Radiants
Nakambala Stadium
15:00hrs
Nakambala Leopards were relegated last season , a very poor season following the departure of Patrick Phiri. They are now under the guidance of Mathews Phiri who has brought in new faces to improve the squad. Junior Zulu and Ignatius Lwipa looks to be the two players that will be scoring for the sugar boys and they are doing well so far.
Lumwana Radiants have been relatively quiet in the Transfer Market but results now show us that they knew what they were doing, joint league leaders with Zesco United and they could be the sole leaders with a win in this encounter.
The key for Lumwana Radiants this Season is keeping Hosea Silwimba fit, especially if Simon Nkhata continues with the way he has hit this season. Chabinga will face stiffer competition from mid table teams to finish in a very good position but what we have seen so far , teams should be strong to beat this Lumwana Radiant side.
The North Western side should also master the capacity of winning away from home rather than depending on home turf. This is a good season for them to compete and they will get a point in Mazabuka. They lost 2-1 last season in Nakambala and beat the sugar boys 1-0 in Lumwana. This will be the first draw in this encounter.
My Verdict: Nakambala Leopards 1-1 Lumwana Radiants

Mufulira Wanderers Vs Kabwe Warriors
Shinde Stadium
15:00hrs
Mufulira Wanderers ensured their fans would spend the off season regrowing their fingernails after surviving relegation, thanks to Coach Suileman who has now left the club. He did a superb job to guide his side stay in the super league and he was hoping to tighten up at the back and get more goals with the eminent signing of Ushindi . When that one transfer failed , it was like the end of the era for Egyptian. He is gone and in comes Mwale and Chinama.
Kabwe Warriors enjoyed a memorable campaign which was almost capped off with a top four finish but ending sixth was a good feet for Warriors. There were also changes made , Fathy left replaced with Chintu Kampamba. Chintu did a fantastic job to maintain Premier League status despite the poor run of results . 2017 season meant Chintu needed to shuffle his pack on a regular basis and that looks to have challenges .
The similar situations at Mufulira and hence makes this encounter an identical problem tree were people in project management will be looking for causes and effects. Mighty are winless in their last five while Kabwe Warriors can at least point at three draws they have gotten from Nkwazi, Buildcon and Red Arrows.
Rahim has too big of a responsibility while Clement Mwape looks to be that one player Kabwe Warriors will be looking up to this season for goals. Mighty should end this losing trek before its too late or else teams will start counting points before the games are played. Mufulira Wanderers will for the first time not lose this weekend but they won’t win .
My Verdict. Mufulira Wanderers 1-1 Kabwe Warriors.

Konkola Blades vs Real Nakonde
Konkola Stadium
15:00hrs
Konkola Blades are back in the Super League. After winning zone two of Division One last term with most Blades fans counting down until the super League kicked off. They have not disappointed in their five games played so far. losing to Zesco and Zanaco, beating Green Buffaloes and City of Lusaka and drawing away to Lumwana is very good start for the Chililabombwe based team.
Enos Silwimba can look forward to welcoming the best Teams, Players and Managers in the country to Konkola Stadium but already ZANACO missed that opportunity due to TV .
Real Nakonde will be the second side to visit Konkola this season , GBFC were first and left with a loss. Mathews Njobvu has done a brilliant job at Real Nakonde and has added Kabeya Mulume to the squad , already he got a goal against Mufulira Wanderers.
This one will be tough for Real Nakonde as Blades is strong at home. Dan Silavwe and Kabeya will try but that boy Tapson will have the big laugh. A home win here .
My Verdict: Konkola Blades 2-0 Real Nakonde

Nkana vs City of Lusaka
Nkana stadium
15:00hrs
Zeddy Saileti started a new era at Nkana Stadium by kicking off the Premier League campaign of 2017. The Nkana legend saw his side perform well in pre season and was hoping that form could be carried into competitive fixtures. It has not turned out that way, two losses already with two draws and one victory, not good enough for Nkana as the Nkana faithful would say. Zeddy has all the team to pick up from in this encounter and nothing less of victory will be accepted .
City of Lusaka visit Nkana looking to improve upon their 8th place and could go joint top if other results go their way with a victory at NKANA stadium. Of particular importance this season Chikwanda should keep telling Dominic Mulenshi to keep scoring and he can do it in Kitwe.
If City allow Nkana to score two goals then Nkana will go above City. I see that happening. Its a home win.
My Verdict: Nkana 3-1 City of Lusaka

Buildcon Vs NAPSA Stars –
Levy Mwanawasa stadium
15:00hrs
Napsa Stars fans are in dreamland – beating Zesco United last weekend and showing signs of a real deal this season is impressing. After beating Nkwazi, the pensioners looked very efficient as they swept past Zesco United in the week five encounter last weekend. Collins Sikombeis a marquee player who should make an immediate impact in the Super League and remember there is also Chitiya Mususu who has the ability of becoming one of the players to watch this season.
Buildcon lost their unbeaten run last week away at Nkwazi and pushed into the bottom four after that loss. Buildcon before that loss had drawn all their four games with one of the best defence in the league.
Chavda Maisha remains the only player to have scored for Buildcon in that 1-1 draw with Power Dynamos and he looks to be the main man. But look out for John Mark Makwata who was very influential in that encounter against Power Dynamos.
Napsa could be enjoying a good form but this one will be a tough one! Buildcon is very good at the back and they are slowly understanding each other and goals will start raining. Buildcon will win this one.
My Verdict: Buildcon 2-0 Napsa
