FAZ MTN SUPER LEAGUE WEEK THREE DONE
MUFULIRA WANDERERS THE ONLY TEAM TO LOSE THREE OUT OF THREE
**********************************
WINNERS AND LOSERS
NAPSA 0-2 NKANA
Austin Muwowo and Shadreck Musonda were the difference as they scored away goals to Napsa and get the first win of the season in a very difficult fixture that has elided Nkana full points everytime they travel.
Both goals were scored in the second half and Napsa couldn’t catch up and hence losing their second of the campaign. Nkana end week three on 8th with Napsa going down further on 15th.
……………………………………………………….
CITY OF LUSAKA 1-2 KONKOLA BLADES
Two teams that came from Victories in week two but Konkola Blades had lost their week one encounter in the mid week to go Zesco.
Blades were too good and shocked City of Lusaka with goals coming from Smart Chisenga and Tapson Kaseba while Erick hibuye got the consolation for City of Lusaka. A very big disappointment for City of Lusaka and vital three points for Blades who got their second win and ity getting their second defeat.
City finish eleventh on the log while the winner are part of the top four at the close of week three.
………………………………………………………………
LUMWANA RADIANTS 2-0 GREEN EAGLES
It was a big one and Green Eagles were hoping to have three out of three but this Lumwana side is a very different entity this season and Hilary Bwalya and Hosea Silwimba grabbed the goals and send Green Eagles back to Choma without anything. consequently Lumwana ends the week as league leaders were Green Eagles drop to third on the log table.
……………………………………………………..
REAL NAKONDE 1-3 RED ARROWS
Real Nakonde lose for the first time this season and the winners are Red Arrows who were also getting their first win after two draws . Even after showing resilience , Red Arrows were too good for the Nakonde boys . Paul Katema, Lubinda Mundia and Stanley Nshimbi fettingthe goals for Arrows while Dan Mathews Silavwe got the consolation for Real Nakonde.
Mathews and Nshimbi got their second of the season. Red Arrows get to fifth at the end of the week while Real Nakonde get into the relegation zone.
…………………………………..………
ZESCO UNITED 4-1 NCHANGA RANGERS
In Ndola Zesco were in no mood for jokes and continued where they left from in the mid week when they beat Konkola Blades 2-0 at the same stadium. This time the visitor was Nchanga Rangers straight from beating Nkana in Chingola. But ZESCO is on a different level and Lazarous Kambole scored two, Jesse Were one and Iddriss Mbombo getting the fourth for the Ndola outfit.
Benson Kolala got that consolation for Blades but it had nothing to do to change the result of the game in relation to points shared. Zesco United go second and Nchanga Rangers end the season on 17th position in the relegation zone.
…………………………………………..
KABWE WARRIORS 0-1 FOREST RANGERS
Green Mumba scored a deflected goal of the game and that was enough to get the three points and leave Kabwe Warriors mourning. This was the first win for Forest Rangers away to Kabwe Warriors in as many games and the win that moves Forest Rangers 10th while Kabwe Warriors drop into the relegation zone for the first time this season.
…………………………………………..
GREEN BUFFALOES 0-1 NAKAMBALA LEOPARDS
Ignatius Lwipa came in from the bench to score the only goal and stun GBFC in a very low tempo game which had little opportunities and lost some sparks who h were expected in the encounter. A second loss for GBFC and the first for Nakamabla and it will be more valued especially that it comes away from home.
GBFC were very poor on the day and showed little fighting spirit to get anything our of the game. Nakambala go 9th on the log with a win and GBFC is left wondering what went wrong on 12th position.
…………………………………
ZANACO 6-0 MUFULIRA WANDERERS
A seriously one sidad game and ZANACO toiled with troubled Mufulira Wanderers and nothing more to add. Goals from Kennedy Musonda, Ernest Mbewe, Augustine Mulenga and Saith Sakala. Boyd Musonda and Richard Kasonde making it 6-0
*****************************************
DRAWS
A total of two draws were on the cards in week three with only one game without goals .
POWER DYNAMOS 1-1 NKWAZI
Edward Mwamba scored the fastwd goal this season so far and it will take some time for anyone to beat that statistic below one minute. Power Dynamos survived and got the equaliser through Fwayo Tembo who got his second of the season.
But the draw was not enough to keep Power Dynamos in the top four as they drop to 6th while Nkwazi still searching for their first win end up on 14th position.
……..,………………………………………
LUSAKA DYNAMOS 0-0 BUILDCON
This game had everything apart from goals and IG just shows how this season is destined to go. Without a doubt Clatous Chama was the best player of that encounter and played well.
Buildcon Ade a strong side and once that team manages to start scoring teams wikk have challenges besting them. Both have now three draws after three games and are 13th and 16th respectively with Lusaka Dynamos better off because of the goals they have scored.

MY STATISTICS FOR WEEK ONE
Number of Goals scored: 26 GOALS
BEST TEAM OF WEEK SIX FOR ME
ZESCO
With as many games played and coming back in the league to win one in the mid week and convincingly beat Nchanga Rangers in this week is just exceptional and Zesco United deserve praise.
MOST IMPROVED
RED ARROWS
Away to Nakonde and getting three points with three away goals would get my pick for the most improved team.
MOST DISAPPOINTING TEAM
GREEN BUFFALOES
Very disappointing game by Buffaloes and showed nothing special and ddsedved the loss to Nakambala Leopards. Bilton Musonda should also be disappointed
FIGHTING RELEGATION
MUFULIRA WANDERERS
Too early to say but losing three out of three with very poor performance is seriously worrying.
BEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Clatous Chama (LUSAKA DYNAMOS)
Cool Calm and Collected and the distribution of the ball is exact to the point and Chama will be Ine if fje players to watch this season
