All games to be Played on Saturday 26th March 2016.

Lusaka Dynamos vs Kabwe Warriors
(Sunset Stadium – Lusaka)
13:00hrs

Lusaka Dynamos play their second game of the league and welcome Kabwe Warriors straight from Division One and this will be a game worth watching with so much prospects of Fatty and Kabwe Warriors to perform.

Lusaka Dynamos won away at Blackpool on the opening day while Kabwe Warriors did not play as ZANACO was away in Zimbabwe for the CAF engagement.

But this is an interesting fixture and after reports of the friendly of Kabwe Warriors away in Mufulira against Mufulira Wanderers will give indication that Lusaka Dynamos should be at its best to stop this team from registering a win that they surely be looking for.

I thought Lusaka Dynamos did not look so good against Mufulira Blackpool and they should thank the missed chances by Blackpool. This is a different team and I think Kabwe Warriors will win this one.

MY VERDICT: Lusaka Dynamos 1-2 Kabwe Warriors

Zanaco vs Lusaka Tigers
(Sunset Stadium – Lusaka)
15:00hrs

I did watch Lusaka Tigers on their first game in the Super League against Nchanga Rangers at Independence Stadium the other week and I thought they did account themselves very well but that was a weak Nchanga Rangers.

They meet the CAF confederation envoy in ZANACO at Sunset Stadium who will be playing their first time this season after missing the first week due to CAF commitment.

This will be a difficult game for Lusaka Tigers as ZANACO have serious credentials of winning the Super League this season and it is such games that will win them the league as they will consider such as must win games.

ZANACO have a big squad and good players to beat Lusaka Tigers without a big challenge and Tigers will come to a realisation that the Super League is tough not compared to the one they played against a weakened Nchanga Rangers.

MY VERDICT: Zanaco 3-0 Lusaka Tigers

Nchanga Rangers vs Power Dynamos
(Nchanga Stadium – Chingola)
15:00hrs

Power Dynamos will be headed to Chingola knowing that a win would guarantee them top slot if other results go their way. They are joint leaders with Nkana separated by alphabetical order having scored two goals and allowed one on the first day of the 2016 FAZ MTN Super League.

Power Dynamos have a very good record against Nchanga Rangers and in the last 18 meetings Power Dynamos have won nine games and the majority of the wins have been away, They have won nine games, seven wins away and Nchanga Rangers beat Power Dynamos in the last 18 games played between the two teams in the Super League, winning one at home and three away. Five have been draws.

Power Dynamos is one of the favourites to win the title this season and away games will be a factor if they are to achieve that record the season they won the Charity Shield.

Last season Power Dynamos beat Nchanga Rangers away 1-2 in a game played in Chililabombwe but Nchanga Rangers took a point in Kitwe in the month of June when they held Power Dynamos 1-1.

Nchanga Rangers do not look ready for this season so far and it will be too early to ask for a victory against Power Dynamos this weekend as I think Power will be too strong.

MY VERDICT: Nchanga Rangers 0-2 Power Dynamos

Nkana vs Green Eagles
(Nkana Stadium – Kitwe)
15:00hrs

You may as well rule out Nkana out of the tile race at your own danger but from what am seeing Nkana should be taken seriously this season.

I think Nkana will grind out results to their favour and force teams to struggle. They have everything going for them for now, sponsors, players and as well as the passionate fans.

I sense a thought of belief among the fans in Wusakile and the players have to put the bill up and gave the supporters what they gave them in 2013 (LEAGUE TITLE).

I still believe they have the best and most organised supporters on match day especially games that are played in Lusaka.

They are home to Green Eagles who lost on the first day in Choma to Green Buffaloes and they will be hoping it’s time to get on the winning ways away at Nkana.

The last time Green Eagles beat Nkana away was in 2014 when they beat the Wusakile side 3-2 that happened to be the second win away as the first one only happened in 2008 when Green Eagles beat Nkana 1-0.

In total there have been 10 games played between the two sides with Green Eagles winning three while Nkana has two wins. Five have been draws.

Last Season Nkana beat Green Eagles 2-0 and drew in Choma 0-0. Nkana will have their third win in the history of these two sides in the Super League.

MY VERDICT: Nkana 3-1 Green Eagles

Mufulira Wanderers vs Nkwazi
(Shinde Stadium – Mufulira)
15:00hrs

Mufulira Wanderers will engage the Policemen this coming weekend with a must win game after a draw away to Forest Rangers on the opening day.

The visitors will also be hoping to avoid defeat after losing to Nkana on the first day at home.

The two teams have two games to their names in the super league which got their counting during the 2015 season were Mufulira Wanderers beat Nkwazi away and drew at Shinde and that will be something Chikwanda will be hoping to change and grab a win for the first time against Mufulira Wanderers.

Nkwazi was one of the defensive teams of 2016 though challenges going forward while Mufulira Wanderers was made by a very good midfield where most of their goals came from with similar challenges of strikers scoring and for Mighty that is what was again seen in their first game against Forest Rangers on the opening day.

Am hoping Mike Katiba will be fit to play a part for Mufulira Wanderers in this game as I believe he was the missing link against Forest.

Too much pressure on the hands of Sakulanda too but I thought the young boy had a good game and Nkwazi will have to take make the boy quite.

We won’t have a lot of goals in this encounter as both teams seem to have the same challenge going forward. I think Mighty will be superior in the midfield again but Nkwazi will resist and manage to get a point.

MY VERDICT: Mufulira Wanderers 1-1 Nkwazi

Nakambala Leopards vs Forest Rangers
(Nakambala Stadium – Mazabuka)
15:00hrs

Nakambala Leopards opens their 2016 season welcoming Forest Rangers who got a point on the first day against Mufulira Wanderers.

Nakambala should avoid the usual fighting relegation on last days and the only way they can do that is winning their home games.

Nakambala Leopards has played Forest Rangers 12 times but Forest Rangers have had a better head to head record winning seven which includes three away games while Nakambala only has two wins in this fixture. The other two are draws.

Last season
Nakambala beat Forest Rangers 2-1 in Nakambala while Forest Rangers beat Nakambala 1-0 in Ndola. But for this encounter I think Nakambala will continue from where they left from last season. Forest Rangers will lose.

MY VERDICT: Nakambala Leopards 1-0 Forest Rangers

Lumwana Radiants vs Red Arrows
(Lumwana Football Pitch – Lumwana)
15:00hrs

The game of the weekend for me and for the first time it will be Lumwana Radiants walking on the pitch for the first time in the Super League.

The first time a North Western Province Club will be taking part in the Super League, CONGRATULATIONS #HARDER_NA_RADIANTS.

This is not an easy fixture for Red Arrows who are coming back from tour duty for the national interest while Lumwana has gone round preparing for the new season.

Red Arrows was one of the best team on the road last season only second to Zesco United while Lumwana Radiants was the best team at home in Division One North.

What a contrast and that is already motivation enough for both teams,
I have been to Lumwana Radiants Ground several times in their times in division one and Red Arrows would be aware that it is not as easy place to go and get three points.

Lumwana Radiants plays with the fans and these will be crucial again in this encounter.

I don’t think Red Arrows are well prepared for this encounter with a lot of the second string team lining up to feature in this encounter. I have feeling Lumwana is better prepared than Red Arrows hence a Lumwana win.

MY VERDICT: Lumwana Radiants 2-1 Red Arrows
