Zambian duo of Striker Patson Daka and midfielder Enock Mwepu played 60 minutes and 76 minutes each respectively FC Liefering’s 3 nil win over Manchester United U23.
Liefering made a great start in the first half of the game and put the U23 side of Manchester United through alot of pressure restricting them to operate in their own half.
U20 AFCON winning midfielder Enick Mwepu had a chance in the early stages of the match but failed to convert it.
Shortly afterwards, Dominik Szoboszlai put Patson Dakaon but the former Nchanga Rangers man hit the bar from a short distance. After a few minutes, Salzburg had already made seven shots.
Eight minutes on the clock , Dominik Szoboszlai finished a great ball from the edge of the penalty area to give Liefering a 1: 0 lead.
Manchester United was overwhelmed and found no means against the aggressive pressing of the house owners. After a great drop-off, Patson Daka went on the journey alone, but gave in on one-on-one situation.
Dominik Szoboszlai was again on the scoresheet shortly after the half hour mark to double his teams advantage.
In the 60th minute Nico Gorzel brought the ball perfectly to the center by a standard cross and Dearnly carried the ball headless into his own goal.
