The president of DR Congo football federation (FECOFA) Mr. Constant Omari Selemani is mourning the death of his wife Mrs. Aimee Kasongo Omari which occurred Friday, November 25, 2016 in Atlanta, USA.
Kasongo was laid to rest Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Atlanta, USA.
“On behalf of FECOFA and the great family of the Congolese football, we offer our deepest condolences to Mr. Constant Omari, while assuring him of our support during this difficult time,” a statement on the federation’s website reads in part.
The Vice-President of FECOFA Roger Bobo and other officials left for Atlanta Thursday 1st for the Sunday’s burial ceremony.
A mass will held in her owner in the capital Kinshasa when Omari, who is also a FIFA Council member returns in the country.
