FIFA has announced a 4-member normalisation committee to run Ghana football at the secretariat of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday 13th, September, 2018.
This comes after an interview session was held at the Tang Palace Hotel in Accra on Tuesday 12th, September, 2018.
Dr. Kofi Amoah – who was the chairman for the FIFA/CAF liaison team will act as the President, former Airtel CEO, Lucy Quist will act as his vice with former Kotoko Board Member Duah Adonteng and Naa Adofoley Nortey named as members.
Alhaji MND Jawula who was expected to be part of the team has been dropped.
The normalisation committee whose mandate will expire by March 31, 2019 will run Ghana FA’s daily affairs and cooperate with the special taskforce.
Also, the normalisation committee will review the GFA statutes to ensure compliance with requirements of FIFA/CAF and conduct elections of the GFA Executive Committee in the basis of the revised GFA statutes.
