Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has cleared Robert Sentongo to play for URA FC. The clearance comes after he missed signing for the former League champions during the January transfer window.
In a communication signed by both FIFA’s Director of Legal Affairs Marco Villger and Head Of players’ status and governance Omar Ongaro it indicated that the player was granted special exemption due to circumstances that surrounded URA’s request to sign Sentongo.
‘We would like to inform you that, based on the documentation and information at our disposal, we are bale to grant your request for the special exemption for the ”validation exception” in the TMS’ read part of the communication from FIFA.
Th FUFA Transfer Matching System Manager Richard Semanda confirmed that the player had been cleared.
‘Our office has received the communication from FIFA regarding Sentongo’s clearance. URA are free to use the player after completing necessary registration with the federation’ said Semanda.
