The world football governing body, FIFA is now set to open the East Africa coordination office in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
This was promised by President Gianni Infantino in March, 2017 during CAF General Assembly.
Ethiopia FA President in his twitter account stated that FIFA will be sending a representative to the country on Friday morning to assess locations for office space.
EFF officials have been working to secure a place for the office.
The FIFA representative will on Saturday assess locations where the office would be stationed then report his findings back to FIFA for a final approval and decision.
The office will majorly serve the CECAFA countries in getting the necessary support and strengthening their relationship with FIFA.
Senegal and South Africa are the other two regional offices in Africa
