Kenya has dropped eight places to position 113 in the latest FIFA ranking released today.

Tanzania has moved up nine places to 137th while Uganda has shot up four places to 74th in the world’s log.

Kenya’s heavy drop can be attributed to Harambee Stars’ poor show in their last two friendlies in Morocco last month where the national team was held to a 2-2 draw by Comoros before losing 3-2 to lowly ranked Central African Republic.

The win has propelled CAR six places up-to position 115 while Comoros, despite the draw has dropped nine places to 141st.

Tanzania, who shocked highly rated DR Congo 2-0 during the same period, has jumped nine places to position 137th, this despite doing down 4-1 to Algeria in another friendly in the month.

Uganda has continued to cement their position as the best ranked team in the region.

The Cranes under new French coach Sebastien Desabre beat Sao Tome and Principe before drawing with Seychelles in friendlies during the last FIFA window.

CECAFA Ranking;
