Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) will send four officials to Uganda for the annual review of the football management programmes supported by FIFA.
According to a message posted FUFA’s website, the four officials expected are Patrick Onyango (FIFADevelopment officer in Gaborone), Diamil Faye, a FIFA performance consultant, FIFA Technical Development Officer, Thondoo Govinden, Emy Casaletti, another FIFA performance consultant.
They are expected in the country on Sunday, 4th October 2015 before embarking on business the following day. The review process will be conducted between 5th to 11th October 2015.
‘’Their visit rotates on the implementation of “PERFORMANCE: The Football Management programme of FIFA”. The major aim among others will be to assess the impact of past activities and planning for 2016’’. A message on the website adds.
Several programmes in coaching, refereeing, administration, management, women and youth football have been accorded to Uganda in the recent past.
They are expected to meet with the FUFA President Moses Magogo, FUFA Executive, Heads of Department, Members of the technical department, head of grassroots and youth development programmes, FUFA Staff responsible for women football development, finance, competitions department, marketing and communication, futsal and beach soccer, external media personnel, all national team coaches, individual sponsors of FUFA, Uganda Football Players Association representatives, Uganda Premier League, officials of the sports and education ministry, National Council of Sports, Uganda Olympic Committee and a crowning presentation to the FUFA Executive Committee with resolutions forwarded.
