Head Coach of Ghana U-17 female football team, Black Maidens, Evans Adotey has invited 36 players to begin camping ahead of the FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup.
The Black Maidens will report at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram today, Monday, 20th, August, 2018 to start their preparations for the global women’s football championship.
The FIFA World U-17 Women’s World Cup billed in Uruguay, will run from November 13 to December 1, 2018.
The Black Maidens have been placed in Group A with Uruguay, New Zealand and Finland.
They will take on Uruguay on the 13th November at the Estadio Charrua, Montevideo before playing Finland and New Zealand respectively at the same venue.
They have participated in every edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup since its inception in 2008 in New Zealand.
The players are made up of of 5 Goalkeepers, 11 Defenders, 11 Midfielders and 9 Strikers.
