Six countries are still in the run in to seal a ticket to India for the U17 Women’s World Cup this year.
South Africa overturned their first leg deficit against Zambia to go through on an aggregate score of 3-2 at the Bidvest stadium whilst Morocco went through after Botsawana failed to travel to Marakesh after its federation pulled out due to the Corona virus outbreak.
Bantwana now tackles Morocco.
At the Yaoundé Ngoa Ekelle Stadium in Cameroon, Les Lionesses dispatched Sao Tome and Principe by 6-0 to advance in the final round of Qualifying on a 10-0 aggregate.
They face Uganda next who also completed a second leg comeback after a narrow 2-1 defeat in Dar es Salaam.
Uganda went on a 5-0 rout over neighbours Tanzania on home soil to stay on course to qualify for the tourney.
Meanwhile, Ghana and Nigeria made light work of their opponents in ‘dead rubber’ return legs after comfortable first leg wins.
The Black Maidens finished on an aggregate score of 10-0 after they beat Liberia 8-0 at the Accra Sport Stadium.
Nigeria whom Ghana plays in the final qualification round, downed Guinea 5-1 at home to bring the joint tally over the two legs to 11-2.
