Cameroon women are firmly in control of their qualifier against Sao Tome and Principe after an emphatic 4-0 win away in Sao Tome.
The baby Lionesses started strongly. Diane Webeua scored a brace in the 14th and 44th minutes before Brenda Tabe added a third a minute later to have a 3-0 lead at the break.
The tie was already past the home side when Ngo Nka’a Michelle added a fourth goal in the 70th to wrap up a fine outing for the visitors.
The reverse fixture will be played on March 14 in Cameroon.
The winner plays either Tanzania or Uganda for a spot in the finals which will be hosted by India later this year.
