Sony Sugar started the match with a mission to get the first win of the premier League this season.
And finally the much needed win came courtesy of a beauty of a goal by Justin Monda in the 45th minute.

Victor Ochieng combined well with Justin Monda raiding the visitors defense but Smith Ouko and Willis Ouma proved a hard nut to Crack.
Smith Ouko received a booking a felling Justin Monda but the resultant free kick by Monda was headed out by Jairus Adira in Chemelil goal.
With just a minute to go in the first half, Justin Monda electrified the crowd which went into jubilation when his free kick went straight at the right corner for a Half time lead.
In the second half both teams started the match creating chances with Chemelil searching equalizer. Amos Asembeka’s diving header was parried away by Adira Jairus for the first attempt at goal in the second half.
Coach Francis Barasa made his first substitution bringing on Jared Obwoge for Okumu Joseph before making another substitution by retiring Edmond Aden for Jeffery Owiti.
Coach Salim Babu brought in Victor Ademba for Justin Monda before bringing on Bonface Muchiri nicknamed ‘choppa’ for Victor Odhiambo.
Sony Sugar held on their nerves despite the drizzle to hand Babu Salim his firs win and Sony’s first win of the season.
