WEDNESDAY ROUND UP IN THE FAZ MTN SUPER LEAGUE

Buildcon lose at Nkoloma

Red Arrows 2-0 Buildcon

Buildcon’s chasing charge suffered another jolt after they were beaten 2-0 away at Nkoloma with a depleted Red Arrows that feels they are ready for the fight.

With Aarows knowing a win would get them in the top four, Buildcon had an opportunity had an to move three points behind the league leaders and be the first team to grab a win at Nkoloma this season, but they were resisted by a stubborn Red Arrows team that made sure they would collect their second win win at home and be a team to move into the top four themselves.

The Airmem, who are two points behind leaders Lusaka Dynamos, have now won three and drawn three in the last six and Ade among the form teams of the league.
Buildcon perhaps played their worst game of the season this far as they looked disjointed and could not manage putting their passes together making it easy for Red Arrows to run over them especially in the second half.

Bruce Musakanya who rarely completes the match was a marvel to watch in the midfield for Red Arrows and orchestrated a lot of movements that made the work of Buildcon difficult in the middle of the pack.

Maisha Chavda missed a penalty in the dying minutes of the game for Buildcon

A well deserved victory by Red Arrows with goals coming from Shadreck Malambo and Lottie Nyimbili, Arrows are not deceiving but they may start hoping for a serious hope in top four finish.

Zesco United 1-0 Real Nakonde

In Ndola, Real Nakonde were brought down back to earth again by ZESCO United, who defeated them 1:0. But truth be said that it was a result that a lot of pundits thought would be a cricket score line. Again that result testament enough that Zesco United is perhaps one of the poor teams in form of the season so far and relying on grinding results.

Zesco up second but the victory was overshadowed by a nasty celebration of Iddris Mbombo who was seen issuing an obscene sign to Zesco fans and he continues receiving unpleasant reaction from Zesco fans.
The team has since apologised to the fans for that gesture.

Kabwe Warriors 3-0 Nchanga Rangers

After their incredible 0-0 draw of Kabwe Warriors against Zesco United in week 11 and in search of their first victory. Warriors were unstoppable in Kabwe against Nchanga Rangers. They registered remarkable win, the first of the season with goals from Jacob Phiri and a brace from Lameck Kafwaya.

Green Eagles 1-1 Nkwazi

The last game of mid week rescheduled game was in Choma were Nkwazi visited Green Eagles and led through Michael Bwalya but the game would then be turned ugflg with five red cards received by Green Eagles. Two to players during the game, one another player before the game and two to the team doctor and coach Albert Mpande.

Never heard of that before
