The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced the 2017 Shield Cup kick off dates.
The knockout tournament is set to begin on weekend of 24th June where teams from top tier and lower league teams will start the campaign for a place in next years CAF Confederations Cup.
Close sources indicate that only four teams will receive a bye in the first round including last year winners Tusker FC.
The winner of the competition that will kick off on Saturday 6 June and that’s expected to feature 64 team is expected to pocket Kshs. 2Million prize money.

Round of 16 – 22-23 July 2017
Quarterfinals – 19-20 August 2017
Semis – 24 September 2017
