Forest Rangers Football Club has appointed Masauso Tembo as Assistant Manager, According to a press statement posted on the Club’s official Facebook page. Tembo joins Forest from Lusaka Dynamos and reunites with head coach Perry Mutapa whom he worked with for three years.

“We are happy to have him (Tembo) as part of our technical bench. It is evident from his record that he has what it takes to deliver the goods so we look forward to a trophly-laden spell with him.”

The new assistant manager is happy with thee confidence the club has shown in him and is keen on helping the club win silverware.

“This is a big opportunity and challenge. Am happy that Forest Rangers trusts me enough to engage me. It has been a while since the club last won any silverware and I would be glad to help it achieve that.” he said

“Perry Mutapa, the head coach, is someone I have known and worked with for a long time dating back to our playing days at the national team where we were even room mates. As coaches we launched our careers together so we work well together and understand each other very well. Reuniting here at Forest is prayer answered because we have some goals to achieve,” he added.

The two will have the huge task improving Forest Rangers league standing at the end of the season. Forest ended 2016 on 9th position with 43 points.
