Former Bandari striker Dan Sserunkuma has been confirmed at Moroccan Championship side Ittihad Riadi Tanger.
The Ugandan forward, who was once with Gor Mahia FC, put pen to paper on Sunday at the club’s offices in Tangier after impressing in a week-long test.Ittihad Riadi has been a close admirer of the former Bandari FC forward and is now among several top players who have joined the club.
“Nairobi-London-Spain-Morocco.So Morocco it is!! I am now officially an Ittihad Riafi Tanger player!!!To God be the glory,” the former Express and Victors player tweeted.
Sserunkuma had scored three goals for the dockers this season which was his third club in Kenyan Premier League.
He first featured for Nairobi City Stars before crossing over to Gor Mahia. He was named KPL Player of the Years in 2012 while turning out for K’Ogalo before recording his best season a year later when he steered the glamour club to their first league title in 18 years.
In December 2013, the Ugandan national joined Tanzanian gaints Simba before leaving for Armenian club Ulisses in July 2015 where he left after terminating his contract.
