Zimbabwe forward Khama Billiat is being reportedly monitored by French Ligue1 side Stade Rennais.
According to French based publication football365,Stade Rennais coach Christian Gourcuff has listed Billiat as a potential signing.
Billiat who plays as a striker for South Africa Premier Soccer League side Mamelondi Sundowns can also play as a winger.
The 26-year old midfielder has scored 23 goals in 69 league appearances for Sundowns since joining them team in 2013 .
He moved to Sundowns after making his proffesional debut at Ajax Cape Town where he netted 21 goals in 2013 season.
Billiat’s creative style of play has led to many likening him to world stars such as Lionel Messi and Neymar.
He has long been subjected of a move to Europe and many expected him to leave after winning the PSL player of the year award last season.
However, France Ligue 1 transfer widow is a week away from closing and the chances of Stade Rennais launching a bid is narrowing.
