The 2016 FUFA list of nominees for the best male player of the year has been revealed.

In an announcement made today at Kampala Serena Hotel only three among the five nominees are players currently playing in the local league.

Opening the list is Onduparaka FC ‘s  ruthless forward Mohammad Shaban with Vipers SC ’s Erisa Ssekikambu as well.

Africa best player of the year nominee and Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Dennis Onyango and Standard Liege’s Miya Farouk are also mentioned in the five name list.

Wrapping up matters is 2015 UPL champions KCCA FC ‘s towering defende Joseph Ochaya.

The event organisers who are Uganda Premier League, FUFA and Airtel have sheduled the awards gala will take place on 2nd December at Speke Resort,Munyonyo in Kampala and the winner will drive away in a brand new Toyota Lexus Car.
