FUFA Big League | Bulega Picks Maiden Win for Wakiso United:

Prior to the Thursday’s game, Wakiso United FC’s point tally on the 2015 FUFA Big League table read zero. The club’s opening three games had all been marginally lost but on the fourth attempt, the newly promoted side finally tasted on the joy of winning a football game.
Wakiso United, the only side coached by a lady beat visiting Kasese New Villa 2-1 to collect their first three points.
‘I am excited that my players have picked up a win. I believe in this team and we are now focusing on our next game’ said Faridah Bulega the coach who signed for the club at the beginning of the season.

Kirabira Deus and Kahinda Mustapha scored for Waksio United to register their first win the FUFA Big League.

Elsewhere, Abdallah Luhima and Tony Kasujju netted for Ndejje University as they defeated Bukedea 2-1.
Former Uganda Premier League side Kira Young continued their poor form losing 3-1 to Paidha Black Angels while Masavu FC stunned Proline academy FC by a 1-0 home victory.

Meanwhile the match between Water FC and Sporting United was not played. Water FC who were meant to be the hosts, never showed up at their home ground. The FUFA Competitions committee says it will only take a decision after receiving the referee’s report.
However, sources within Water FC have told soka25east that they wrote to Fufa informing them of how Mengo SS administration had stopped them from using their grounds due to UNEB Examinations going on at the school.

But despite failing to get official response to the claims, this site has learnt that Fufa allegedly told Water FC to find a tentative home ground but instead the club remained adamant.

Wandegeya FC vs Entebbe FC was not played as well due to a water logged pitch as a result of the heavy rains shortly before the match in Kanyanya.
Kirinya Jinja vs Masaka LC and Sun City vs Citizen Fc were postponed to new dates to be communicated soon.
