Uganda FA president Eng. Moses Magogo has been appointed on the CAF Executive Committee.
The unprecedented feat for a Ugandan was confirmed during the Executive Committee meeting held today in Manama, Bahrain.
The 41-year old electrical engineer will attend the meetings of the CAF’s top decision making organ but will not a vote.
Magogo, a former United Nations employee will be defending his seat during this year’s FUFA election in August.
More appointments were made during the CAF meeting.
Sierra Leone FA President Isha Johansen was appointed the chairperson of women football committee.
Her Nigerian counterpart Amaju Pinnick was handed the chairmanship of the African Cup of Nations and media committee.
Marketing docket went to South Africa FA boss Danny Jordaan.
