Federation of Uganda Football Associations President Eng. Moses Magogo will address the football fraternity and various stakehokders of the game today Wednesday 20th May 2020.
Football in Uganda has been suspended since 18 March with the country going into lockdown after cases of the virus were first repoted.
Just like any other African country, Uganda has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic with 260 infections, 63 recovered and zero deaths.
The Football community will be itching to hear from the FUFA President on the direction of football in the country involving the all the Divisions.
The Covid-19 pandemic has hit many sectors financially including football as many clubs are not making revenue which comes on match days.
Magogo’s address on the status of Football in Uganda will be streamed on the Federation’s official social media platforms starting from 11 Am Ugandan time.
Over the past few months FUFA has been working with the country’s COVID-19 Task force to provide relief to the vulnerable players through their clubs such as the distribution of food hampers.
