Morocco’s Premier League side,FUS Rabat arrived safely in Kampala, Uganda at 5:30 am East Africa time on Thursday aboard a chartered flight which departed Rabat earlier yesterday morning.
FUS Rabat face KCCA FC on Sunday evening in their fifth match of 2017 Confederations Cup Group A encounter at the Philip Omondi Stadium in Kampala.
Speaking to the press immediately after arrival FUS Rabat coach Hoalid Regradui said, “We are here to try and mantain our good momentum in the group”.
“Playing away from home has been one of our problems and this time we must improve,”added the coach.
FUS Rabat beat KCCA FC 3-0 in the opening game of the group in Rabat. They now lead the group with six points and the Kampala based side are in the bottom of the group.
