Reading have signed Gambia international winger Modou Barrow.
The 24 -year-old has signed a four-year deal to become Reading manager Jaap Stam’s fourth summer signing.
In an interview with Swansea portal earlier today Barrow thanked everyone for his stay at the Swans.
“I am sorry to leave Swansea because i’ve really enjoyed my time at the club.It has been a brilliant experience and i would like to thank everyone from management,staff,players and the supporters,”he said.
On his part Reading Chief Executive Ron Gourlay,when receiving the player, expressed his happiness for capturing the star’s signature.
“We are delighted to have finalised a deal to bring Mo to Madejski Stadium. A lot of hard work is ongoing to try and strengthen Jaap’s squad for the challenges of the season ahead and give us the best possible chance of enjoying another successful year.
“So I’m pleased that a player of Mo’s calibre has opted to join us at Reading to try to help us achieve our goals,”he added.
Barrow had joined Swansea from Swedish side FK Ostersunds for £1.5m in July 2014 and scored twice in 55 Premier League appearances.
He finished last season on loan at Leeds, having previously spent time at Blackburn and Nottingham Forest.
