Lack of consistency has been Power Dynamos story so far this season and saturday was no different as the Kitwe giants where hammered 2-1 by green Buffaloes away at Independence stadium.
This was the first time Green Bufaloes beat Power Dynamos at home since 2006.It had to happen at some point ,well it took 10 years but it finally happened .
Martin Phiri opened the scoring for the Visitors, to take his goal tally to four goals so far this season .Super League Legend Lottie Phiri equalized for Green Buffaloes before Sebastien Mwansa could score the winner straight from a corner kick in the second half.
Sebastien become the second player to net a direct corner in this seasons MTN/FAZ super league.Nkwazi’s Steward Chikandiwa was the first to do so.
Green Buffaloes last beat Power Dynamos at home on the 22nd of April 2006 via a similar 2-1 scoreline and
Sebastian Mwansa was on the score sheet in that match scoring the equalizer before Dears Kakunta scored the winner.
This result took Green Buffaloers football Club above Power Dynamos to 5th place on 11 points while Power Dynamos drop to 6th place stuck on ten points.
