Gerald Phiri Senior is the new Malawi Flames U20 coach. The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has appointed the Azam Tigers head Coach according to FAM’s general secretary(GS), Suzgo Nyirenda who confirmed the development to the press saying that the association will give Phiri and other members in the technical panel permanent jobs.
“As you know we will be going to Cosafa under 20 tournament we have thought of giving the new technical panel members contracts which will last for two or more years,” said Nyirenda.
According to Nyirenda, Phiri will be deputised by well know sports analyst and Mtopwa Super Boys under 20 team Coach, Enos Chatama.
Griffin Saenda Junior will be the team manager
