Kick ID CEO Hischam Telib was in Lusaka,Zambia two weeks ago where he made a presentation to the Football Association of Zambia(FAZ) who have shown interest in starting a pilot project involving all the Provinces.
KICK ID programme is aimed at helping African Football Federations with talent identification. The players , through this programme, are compared with the corresponding age groups in Europe,Asia and other African countries, thus providing data points on how to identify the gaps, which will help bring about a change in player development, coaching, and coach education, amongst other things.

With the help of this, we can bring data science into the realm of talent identification, which is one of the areas that we have identified in our strategic analysis” FAZ President Kamanga said.
“We also have plans to support clubs and academies through this programme. This could be a great tool for Zambia to identify talent, comparable talent gaps in the rest of the world, and nurture them for the future.” he added.
On his part KICK ID CEO Hischam Telib has said “The Kick ID Programme’s statistics will be utilised to generate age-specific player profiles, thus highlighting every player’s strength and weakness.
