Ghana Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, has named a strong 21-man squad for next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya in Nairobi.
Notable exclusions in the squad include skipper Asamoah Gyan,Ayew brothers of Andre and Jordan while William Owusu who plies his trade in Belgium for Antwerp got his maiden call-up.
Inter Milan midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah makes a return to the team after a long absence.
The Black Stars team will commence camping in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from the 3rd to the 7th of September, 2018.
