FIFA/CAF Liaison team PRO cum Sports Journalist, Dan Kweku Yeboah has refuted report stating that Ghanaian midfield genius Kwadwo Asamoah is injured.

Reports in the local Ghanaian media says the Inter Milan new recruit limped off during training adding that he could miss Saturday’s clash vs Kenya at MISC Karasani Stadium.

However, Dan Kweku Yeboah says he sat as a precautionary measure to ice his knee thus he is fit and ready on Saturday.

“Ghanaians should not panic. It’s not true Kwadwo Asamoah is injured,” Dan Yeboah told Oyerepa FM in an interview

“He only took precaution to sit out few mins to end of training to put ice on his knee.

“He is fit and ready to play on saturday.”

The 29-year-old made a comeback to the Black Stars for the first since September 2014 due to injuries.

His last campaign for the four-time African champions was an Afcon qualifier vs the Cranes of Uganda.
