Ghana will face neighbours Cote d’voire in the semi-finals of the Afcon U-17 championship.

The Black Starlets topped Group A with 4 points following their slim 2-1 win over the young Hawks of Togo on Saturday evening.

The young Elephants of Cote d’voire finished second with 3 points in Group B after win against Burkina Faso.

Karim Zito’s boys got their campaign with a disappointing 0-0 draw with host Niger in the first Group A game.

Ghana vs Cote d’voire semifinal tie will be come off at the Stade Municipal, Niamey on Wednesday evening Sept 12.

The winner of this game will face either Nigeria or Niger in final on Saturday September 15.

The winner of the WAFU Zone B tournament will secure an automatic qualification to the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

The biennial International youth football tournament is billed for May 12-26th May in Dares-Salam, Tanzania.

It’s a new format adopted by CAF to increase participation at the level of teams in the qualifiers and enhanced expose and competitiveness by getting all involved.
