The Ghana football Association (GFA) has unveiled the match ball for the league for the 2020/2021 season.
Named “Macron”, will be the official supplier for the Ghana Premier League, Division 1 League, Women’s Premier League, FA Cup competitions and will be used for the first time when the new season get underway in October, 2020.
The brief ceremony took place at its headquarters in Accra on Wednesday, July, 22, 2020.
The sponsorship deal between GFA and the Bologna-based Sporting Apparel Company is worth GH¢1.6m for 3 years.
Also, the deal will see 5000 (five thousand) balls will be given to the football governing body each year.
Addressing the media, the FA Boss, Kurt Okraku said: “It is a historic day and the gesture from Macron Ghana will affect every facet of our football development.”
“Club owners would not be saddled with the burden of buying football,” he added
