Ghana have moved a place up in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA ranking released on Thursday November 29.
Placed 52nd last month, Ghana finds themselves 51st in the latest global rankings.
This rise can be attributed to the Black Stars’ 2-0 win over Ethiopia in the 2019 Afcon qualifiers in Adddis-Ababa a fortnight ago.
Back on the continent – Ghana occupy the sixth spot.
The Teranga Lions of Senegal now lead the table (23rd), the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia (26th) sit second, Atlas Lions of Morocco ( 40th) lie third, the Super Eagles of Nigeria (44th) occupy the fourth spot and Eagles of DR Congo (49th) sit fifth.
Belgium still hold the topspot, France lie second, Brazil, Croatia, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Switzerland, Spain, Denmark in that sequence.
Ghana will not be in action until March next year when they host the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the final 2019 Afcon qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The next FIFA ranking will be updated on Dec 20.
