Ghana striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has terminated his AFC Leopards contract to sign for Libyan outfit All-Nasr Benghazi.

The former Hearts of oak player looked to have been finding his feet again after joining the Kenyan club earlier this year.

Fiamenyo scored five goals in 14 league games but demanded his release from the struggling Leopards last week, the club said in a statement.

“We wish to notify our members and fans that the club received and has accepted a release request from Gilbert Fiamenyo.

“He leaves AFC Leopards to join Al Nasr club in Libya with immediate effect,” it read.

“Details of the deal will be communicated in due course. We wish Gilbert all the best in his new club and thank him for the service he gave us during his stay.

“Gilbert Fiamenyo leaves the club after playing 14 SportPesa Premier League matches. He played for 1138 minutes and scored 5 goals (our top scorer so far for this season),” the statement added.
